Hader says arbitration model ‘outdated’ after loss

All-Star closer Josh Hader lost his salary arbitration case against the Brewers and will earn $4.1 million rather than his $6.4 million request. Hader said the arbitration model for relievers is 'outdated' based on how the role has evolved.
